Lately there is a chill in the air in Ellicottville. The first snow of the season fell on the village on November 2nd. With some help from Mother Nature, Holiday Valley plans to open for the ski and snowboard season on Friday, November 26th.

GOACC has created a new event planned for December 3rd and 10th called the Jingle Bell Jubilee. The Jingle Bell Jubilee will feature many fun activities that will make the event twinkle with fairytale festiveness.

Last week, thanks to a generous donation from the Elisa B. Hughey Fund for the Arts, several kids were able to attend a class at the Ellicottville Memorial Library to create their own Halloween mask.

With thousands of dollars still needed for renovations, the caretakers of the 100+ year-old Tickletown in Humphrey, New York will host a series of haunted house fundraising events on the last two weekends in October to help with costs.
