Ski Tree Lighting Ceremony goes Live on Facebook
The annual Ski Tree & Village Lighting Ceremony took place Friday, Nov. 27th in downtown Ellicottville. A quiet celebration this year due to Covid, only a handful of onlookers joined in person; the community was invited to participate virtually via Facebook Live through the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page.
Barb Pump, project development manager for the Chamber, did the honors of this year’s light-up, assisted by a very special guest, her son, Grayde.
For those heading out for Small Business Saturday, please remember to follow the safety guidelines put forth by the DoH, mask up, maintain social distancing, and please continue to practice respect and patience for one another as we enter into the holiday season.
