JAMESTOWN - To be sure you don’t miss out on a delightful evening, register today for Audubon Community Nature Center’s Enchanted Forest, Friday and Saturday, October 6-7th. At this magical, non-scary event designed for children and adults, animals speak human language and communicate with visitors. You and your family will follow a guide through the luminary-lit Enchanted Trail to meet animals that will engage your imagination, maybe make you laugh, and teach you something about wildlife in the region.

After the walk, stop in the backyard to enjoy a campfire and live music. Snacks and drinks will be available. There will be crafts, live animals and exhibits to explore inside the Nature Center. Enchanted Forest happens rain or shine, so be sure to dress for the weather. For protection from biting insects like mosquitoes, long pants, long-sleeved shirts, closed-toe shoes and insect repellent are recommended. Halloween costumes are welcome

Walks go out every 10 minutes starting at 6:00pm and last about 40 minutes each. The last walk starts at 8:00pm. (Sunset is approximately 6:45pm.) Prepayment is required and reserves a specific time. The fee is $14 for adults, $10.50 for Nature Center members and children ages 3-15, and free for children 2 and under.

The Enchanted Forest is sponsored by Ekey Marketplace, Kinetic by Windstream, Forecon, and Saxton, Kocur & Associates, LLP.

For more information and to reserve your time, call 716-569-2345 during business hours or click through “Programs and Events” at AudubonCNC.org. There are no ticket sales at the door and no refunds.

Visitors are welcome Mondays through Saturdays from 10:00am-4:30pm and Sundays from 1:00-4:30pm. Nature Center members and SNAP/EBT cardholders have free building admission daily. Building admission is also free every Sunday for non-Nature Center members.
