Everyone can be an artist and our Artistic Explorers program is designed to spark the imagination of some of our youngest community members. Join us as we read a story, have a snack, and complete an art activity while introducing your young art makers to new tools, techniques, and famous artists!

Offering #3: Hokusai’s Great Wave: The Wave, written by Margaret Hodges and illustrated by Blair Lent.

Participants will learn about artist Katsushika Hokusai’s woodblock print, “The Great Wave off Kanagawa,” while experiencing other wood block print from the Quick Center collection before creating their own mono prints!

Recommended Ages: 3-6 years old with any accompanying guardian
