Come Out For the Bootleg.Soiree

Springville Center for the Arts presents bootleg.soiree - three floors of interactive art installations, live music, and plenty of space to party. The all-ages event will take place Saturday, October 19th from 8 to 11pm at the former Legacy in Springville.
Bootleg.soiree traditionally takes over a disused or abandoned space for a one-night art pop-up that challenges people’s perceptions. This year, enter an inverted reality as you explore a former 1880s photography studio during bootleg.soiree: Camera Obscura, where things are not as they seem.
Art installations will include a dreamy photo booth, a performance chapel by Cult Mother, features created by the Buffalo State Design Class and UB Media Class, a psychedelic greenhouse, and other immersive experiences. ART BAR will offer a menu of activities, and various other interactive opportunities will be hidden throughout the building.
The music schedule includes a French accordion jazz trio, alternative folk by Mikee Strongmen, indie psychedelic pop band Cobra Patrol, DJ Katie BKind, and art and music stylings by Stephen Wilgur.
Complimentary charcuterie and grazing tables, as well as cash bars will be available.
Bootleg.soiree will take place at 3 East Main Street, Springville. Tickets are $25 presale or $30 at the door for adults, $15 for college students, and $5 for kids, and can be purchased at 716.592.9038 or SpringvilleArts.org. Email sca.annafitz@gmail.com for a volunteer shift in exchange for free entry.
