Holiday Valley & Borderland Music Team Up for March Music Festival: Tickets On Sale Now!


ELLICOTTVILLE - The promoters of Borderland Music + Arts Festival have teamed up with Holiday Valley Resort to bring you the Rail Rider Jamboree for the 3rd year. The event will take place March 23, 2024 at Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville, New York. Grammy award winning artist, The Infamous Stringdusters will be headlining the day, supported by up-and-coming female rocker Karina Rykman and Buffalo natives Wild Knights. The Wild Knights features members of the band Organ Fairchild and will be performing Grateful Dead and Allman Bros. music. Also performing will be the regional band from Syracuse, Dirty Blanket from Buffalo and the New Orleans style marching band, Brass Machine will also perform at the Jamboree. The day will kick off at Holiday Valley Resort with bluegrass and bloody mary’s at the base of Holiday Valley.

The Rail Rider Jamboree weekend will coincide with Holiday Valley’s Pond Skimming event, a celebration of the end of ski season. The weekend will be filled with music, skiing, snowboarding, brews, craft vendors and so much more! The definition of a Jamboree is "a large celebration or party, typically a lavish and boisterous one" and that is what the Rail Rider Jamboree is planning for all attendees. The Jamboree is outdoors with music starting around 1:00pm on Saturday with doors opening at 12:00pm and will take place in the Holiday Valley Resort lot right next to the Holiday Valley Lodge.

Rail Rider Jamboree will kick off the weekend  on Friday, March 22nd at Holiday Valley with rail jam contests and live music, slopeside at the base of the mountain at the Rail Park. Come enjoy free music at the Holiday Valley Cabana Bar from 8:00-10:00pm.

“Rail Rider Jamboree has quickly become a staple for the end of season at Holiday Valley. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the outdoors with amazing music at the base of the ski slope,” says Ginger Root Productions and Borderland Festival owner, Jennifer Brazill. “The elements create the best vibe and the venue is perfect.
