It’s Sagittarius Season: Laugh & Be Merry

It’s Sagittarius Season: Laugh & Be Merry

Suzy’s Star Readings Requests You Remember to Love Yourself During the Season of Giving

Happy December to you all! This month’s new moon was on the twelfth in the sign of Sagittarius. What new intention would you like to manifest over the next 28-ish days?  Two or even three days after the new moon, you can still “make a wish.” This Sagittarius time of the year brings the energy of having those wishes, or prayers, granted when done from a place of sincerity. Believe in miracles!

Sagittarius season is festive by nature. It is ruled by the planet Jupiter, and the king of the Greek gods, Zeus. It is charitable, kind, generous, giving, jolly and jovial and loves to ‘go big’!Ol’ Saint Nick has a big belly, and a big belly laugh with a bellowing “Ho Ho Ho!” These are all traits that describe the grandness of the season and the nature of those with a Sagittarius sun, moon or rising sign. Laugh and be merry! Working with the higher mind and higher heart will work miracles into your life. Use the power of prayer, and know you are worthy to receive, so don’t leave YOURSELF out when setting prayers and intentions!

As we get closer to the big day, we will be moving into Capricorn season (marking the winter solstice) and we will be feeling more and more nostalgic, even a bit weepy. Why? We have a full moon the day after Christmas, in the most emotional of all zodiac signs, Cancer. Cancer represents the mother, the nurturer and our need for emotional healing. It also represents one’s roots, our families overall; the ones we were born into but also the ones that we have created for ourselves. With the moon in the sign that it rules, Cancer, expect plenty of reflecting. It will pull on the strings of our hearts as we remember those we miss.

I’d like to remind you that energy can not be destroyed, and that your loved ones are very much still with you. Don’t be surprised if you get the chills or goosebumps as you read this and a departed loved one comes to mind, or you may smell, hear or feel them for example. Invite your loved ones to join you around this full moon holiday time, and allow yourself to feel their presence. Your departed loved ones are not only free from the confines of a physical body, they are in a space of all-seeing, all-knowing, and are omnipresent.

I have done thousands of readings for people at my office. So many ask if their departed loved one “made it okay.” Your loved ones are in a vibrant frequency of bliss. Learning to love yourself really is the greatest gift you can give this world because it means you acknowledge the miracle of life that you are and allow it to radiate outwards to all that you come across. That is what “the light” is. Across all religions, it is the inner light that some may call ‘the holy spirit’ that every one of us was born with. We will feel these effects the most from later on the 24th through early on the 28th.

Beyond feelings of loss, it is important to mention that emotions can also go the other way and we can CHOOSE to give thanks to all our loved ones, here and passed, as they helped us to become who we are today. Express gratitude, self-love, love to those in our circles, and to be in the frequency of love. Use the time to give thanks and to celebrate life. That is really the meaning of the season – love that you are alive and help others to do the same by recognizing the ‘God inside’. May you be able to cry tears of joy for how far you've come, for continuing to evolve and grow! Learning to love yourself in new ways! Tears of joy for having people who really do love you!

Here’s some great news! Thursday the 21st is the winter solstice, the first official day of winter, and is the shortest day of the year. YOU MADE IT! We now GAIN daylight. Yay!

Sending you warm wishes of love during this time. Please know that you are important and that you are loved. I love you. Watch for my article at the end of the month that will give you a guide to 2024 by your astrological sign!

Your sister from the stars, Suzy
