It’s going to be a tough month
Hello wonderful friends, how are you feeling? Firstly, thank you so much for making Ellicottville’s Fall Fest a successful weekend for my small business. I loved meeting so many of you at Good for the Spirit Gifts to take advantage of our Fall Fest specials, and had a great time doing walk-in readings. I am extremely grateful to be so well received here!
It is Scorpio season now as the leaves fall off the trees, the air becomes brisk, and things go barren. It’s night time for the year; as things go to sleep, they repair and rebuild just like we do when we go to sleep. Halloween is total Scorpio energy. It’s the color black, it’s death, dark night, and the veil is thin for sure.
Happy birthday Scorpios! People trust Scorpios with their dark secrets and traumas. Scorpio has had their own, but are very private so you won’t know what they’ve gone though. They have penetrating eyes and minds - they seem like they can see right through you. Don’t lie to a Scorpio because they have a built-in lie detector and they know, but they won’t tell you. They will laugh inside their head as the non-truther squirms and breaks a sweat. And don’t cross them because they never forget. They aren’t too good at forgiving either. And, they keep score. If you have a Scorpio in your circle, you know they are deep, intense, don’t scare easily, they laugh at horror movies, and love solving mysteries. If they say they will do something, you can count on it that they will honor their word, which they take very seriously. They are excellent listeners, even when you think they aren’t listening. They silently collect data and are very strategic.
Scorpio often enjoy careers in counseling and therapy, social services, crime and private investigation, paranormal anything, and people who work around death like funeral homes and morticians. Scorpio is also good with managing money and resources like real estate, insurance, investments and portfolios.
Now onto November’s astrology. It’s not an easy month, due to these eclipses and the warrior planet Mars having just gone retrograde (appears to be moving backwards from Earth’s perspective) in the sign of Gemini (communications, cars, and contracts). It is like a Mercury retrograde with ammo, machismo and testosterone. Be careful with your temper, and with sharp instruments and tools. It is a time to avoid surgery if possible.
We have a closing eclipse November 8th - imagine that, right on election day. Expect problems with it and many will be exposed with dirt on their face. That’s under an eclipsed full moon in Taurus. Watch something happening in the financial sector.
Jupiter is still retrograding and it just went back into Pisces, which I personally love. Pay attention to your dreams; you have heightened intuition and increased psychic abilities! Something that didn’t turn out back in April comes back. Regain a missed opportunity! It’s a wonderful time for reflection, meditating, journaling, painting, doing creative, right-brained things. It’s not a time to begin anything brand new. At all.
Please be mindful of your words as we wrap up the calendar year. Words are like double-edge swords. They can cut to help or impale to hurt. There will be hurtful words; don’t let them be from you. Everyone is someone. Everyone is going through their own trials. Please, be kind.
