The Holiday Season in the Enchanted Mountains is magical! Here are some nearby, fun events for you and yours to experience in addition to the holiday happenings around Ellicottville!

OLEAN

The City of Olean has several traditions and activities visitors are invited to participate in. On November 25 at 7:00pm, watch Olean’s Santa Claus Lane Parade followed by Santa and Mrs. Claus lighting the town’s decorations! The 2nd Annual Jingle Bell Jubilee offers an abundance of holiday activities and events on December 2 and 9 including sleigh rides! You can also visit Santa’s Cottage in Lincoln Park on December 7 and 14 from 5:30-8:30pm. 

SALAMANCA

The City of Salamanca is hosting their iconic Silver Bells Santa Parade on Saturday, December 3 at 6:00pm. There will be lights, cocoa, cookies and of course - Santa! - to celebrate the holiday. The theme of the parade is a reminder of Ray Evans, lyricist of “Silver Bells,” who was born in Salamanca!

RANDOLPH

In the heart of Amish country, you will find Randolph’s Country Christmas on December 2 and 3. This weekend is full of tradition and Christmas surprises. Enjoy the “Light up the Night” Christmas Parade and Memory Tree Lighting on December 2. The following day, December 3, attend the Randolph Holiday Arts & Crafts Show at the schools and be sure to visit with Santa Claus at the Randolph Library from 11:00am-1:00pm.

GOWANDA

Take a walk back in time, stroll downtown Gowanda, shop local, and celebrate an old-fashioned Christmas at the Annual Christmas in Gowanda event, December 3. There will be fun family activities and even a fireworks show after the parade. You can also hop aboard the Santa Express Train Ride with Santa from Gowanda’s train station during the first three weekends of December.
