1,000 Meals Delivered
When people come together, good things happen.
Nick Pitillo (Osteria 166/Villaggio) and Russell Salvatore (Salvatore’s Grand Hotel/Russell’s Steaks, Chops & More) make a dynamic pair. Together, alongside a myriad of sponsors and a team of volunteers, organized and delivered 1,000 meals yesterday to frontline workers at ECMC who will be working this Thanksgiving. The “Giving Thanks” initiative is just another feel-good effort implemented through StockTheFreezer.com, which Pitillo launched at the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic.
To keep the momentum going, Pitillo is on schedule to deliver another 4,000 meals today, this round heading to Catholic Health frontline workers.
