Roswell Park Employee and Volunteer Appreciation Day
ELLICOTTVILLE, NY: On Saturday, October 17th, Ellicottville is inviting employees and volunteers from Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center to come and enjoy everything the village has to offer. Every single staff member and volunteer plays an important role at Roswell Park and we are beyond excited to show each one of them how much they are appreciated, and how thankful we are to them for taking such good care of many of our community members.
To show our many thanks, our shops and restaurants will be offering specials to Roswell Park employees and volunteers. These specials may be a shopping discount or a dining offer, or even a little gift to show our gratitude. If you are a Roswell Park employee or volunteer, all you need to do is look for the “Welcome” poster in our participating storefront windows and show your Roswell Park ID card or mention that you are an employee/volunteer of Roswell.
The day will officially begin at 11:00am at the Gazebo located in the lawn of the Town/Village Hall at the corner of West Washington and Jefferson Streets, downtown Ellicottville. Mayor John Burrell will read a Proclamation and there will be an official welcome. Thomas Schwaab, MD, Roswell Park’s Chief of Strategy, Business Development and Outreach will also offer remarks.
We hope that many Roswell Park employees and volunteers will make the trip to beautiful Ellicottville to enjoy a special day that is dedicated to them, our heroes! Our community cannot wait to show our appreciation for all that they do!
