Congratulations Katie Krotz

2021 AgDiscovery Program - Purdue University

Katie Krotz, a 10th grader at Ellicottville Central School, has been chosen to participate in the Summer 2021 AgDiscovery Program, sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Programs in the College of Agriculture at Purdue University. Katie was selected based on her outstanding academic and extracurricular accomplishments, as well as the contributions she will bring to the university and the program.

Katie received this honor by writing a two-page essay entitled, “Why I Want to Attend the AgDiscovery Program at Perdue University,” and by receiving three letters of recommendation. The AgDiscovery Program will provide her with a unique opportunity to learn about Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in agriculture related programs and careers, in addition to gaining a perspective into college life. Katie’s goal is to be a veterinarian with a possible specialization in prosthetic engineering.

ECS is very proud of you Katie!
