Welcome to Aries Season: Official Start of Spring

Suzy’s Star Readings Show Its Time to Light a Fire Under Our Butts and Get Moving

The true mark of the new year is with the first new moon in Aries, the very first sign of the zodiac. It rules the head, the ego, the identity. It is the ruler of new beginnings and taking action.

The element of Aries is fire. Fire is the oomph energy to get things in motion. It’s an energy that says “just do it” and lights a fire under our behinds to get out of hibernation mode. After a seed is dormant in the soil over the cold season, fire energy suggests, “Awaken. It’s time to grow. Break free from your shell.” It is the spark from fire energy that helps that seed crack open, break ground and be seen.

The three fire signs are Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. The first is realizing self; it rules the first stage of life, forming the identity. The next, Leo, brings more stability and kinship. And the last, Sagittarius, becomes the evolved self; more spiritually and morally integrated.

Delight in Mother Nature’s gentle alarm clock of singing birds that gently awaken and greet you, welcoming you to a new day, a new opportunity to shine. Are you ready? The full moon is April 6 at 12:34am - what a wonderful time to clear the decks. Burn off your energetic brush, take some nice deep breaths and get ready to truly embrace the new energy that has prosperity and your name written all over it! All you have to do is reach out for it by affirming you are ready, and take positive action! You can’t take old baggage into this new energy or everything will feel super sluggish

We have two powerful new moons in Aries this year - one was March 21 the day following the equinox, and the next is just before midnight April 19. If you didn’t set your new moon intentions or create a vision board for the whole next year in March, I strongly recommend that you do it with this new moon.

Another super important thing to mention is we have a solar eclipse on April 19 - pay attention to what you feel this day, write things down. You may not feel very energetic when the sun (our strength) is eclipsed by the moon (our emotions). Not a day to file papers, not a day to launch, not a day to start anything new… a great day to reflect, get ideas on paper, a great day to meditate or pray, to ask for guidance and signposts from your spirit guides and/or your higher power. Avoid surgeries and medical procedures on this day and be careful around sharp instruments.

This month carries a bright entrepreneurial spirit! If you have been thinking about launching a business, GO FOR IT! Just know though that this is a beginning energy, not a one-and-done type of mindset. Don’t rush, because this fiery Aries energy loves to just jump in and figure it out as they go. When it comes to a business though, you must be strategic for success. Plan, research, consult, test and then launch. Don’t launch first.

My advice is to brainstorm, research, and write all your ideas down. Start to poke around in your chosen industry, field and niche. As we move from Aries to Taurus season later in April, that is when the energies slow down - that will be the time to craft and write your business plan. We are moving to a model of less corporations and more independent businesses so I am here to help you say yes, it is time. The world needs your talents, so bring them to the marketplace!

Announcement: If you would like to learn with me or attend my Lion’s Gate spiritual retreat, tickets are now available. Please visit the events page of my website, suzy-woo.com, to read all about it!

Enjoy this wonderful, bright, new, positive energy. Stay in the light, stay in your heart and trust that things are working out for you… and they will. Wishing you joy and success now and always. Your sister from the stars,

- Suzy Woo
