The Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce and city leadership are inviting the community out for a night on the town. Working with the city and members of the business community, the Chamber is announcing “StrOlean,” the event aims to bring folks to the downtown shopping district for an evening of fun.
StrOlean will stretch from Laurens Street to State Street, and will be transformed into a bustling festival, complete with over 50 vendors, food, music, and games. This year marks the first time that StrOlean will see the closure of a block of North Union Street to traffic, creating a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly festival atmosphere in the heart of Olean's revitalized downtown. Local favorite Generations will kick off the live entertainment, performing from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. next to the City Building. Following that, an original music showcase will take place in front of Beat City Music from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
