Image Sizing

Generally Images should be 2500px wide and one of the following aspect ratios:

Square: 1:1
Landscape: 2:3, 3:4, 4:5,9:16
Portrait: 3:2,4:3, 5:4, 16:9

Section Background Images

When using an image as a section background the following image sizes minimize cropping.

Create images or graphics of the following heights:

S: 2,500 x 300
M: 2500 x 400
L: 2500x600

The safe zone is approximately 350px wide x your section height minus 50px.

You can also choose a custom height and widths to have finer control of your section height and image cropping

Crop Free Images

In image blocks you can you check the “Stretch” image option to force your image to fit. Pro Tip! - use your image as a banner by setting it’s section width to 100% and section height to 10. If your image has a solid color around the edges, set you section background to that color.

Image Accessibility

Make sure your images are labeled correctly. Be sure to set the “Filename” (Block Images) or “Title" (Gallery Images) . This helps users who can’t see the images read you page. Google also indexes your page descriptions. Take a look at this page for guidance on writing great image descriptions.
