Chamber Welcomes New Administrative Assistant

Welcome to the Team!!

ELLICOTTVILLE - The Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the newest member of their team. Abigail Siebert (pictured left, with Chamber Business Development Manager Jessica Wallace) fulfills the position of Administrative Assistant and has settled in quite comfortably since beginning her duties May 1st. Not only will she oversee general office duties and communications within the Chamber, but she will also assist in the marketing of 18 Chamber events and festivals annually, including the creative development of the Chamber’s social media campaigns.

“Abigail is no stranger to Ellicottville. As a current resident and real estate agent with ERA Team VP Real Estate, Abigail is familiar with Ellicottville’s tourism industry and will surely be an asset to our operations here at the Chamber,” stated Brian McFadden. “Our village attracts over 1.7 million visitors annually and we’re excited to implement Abigail’s skillsets which will only help our area continue to grow in leaps and bounds.”

Ms. Siebert is a graduate of Daemen University of Amherst, NY with a degree in Business Administration and specializing in Marketing. She looks forward to promoting all of the wonderful activities and businesses in the area.

“I’m honored to join the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce team,” said Abigail. “I’m originally from Grand Island, NY but moved to Ellicottville my freshman year of high school, almost eight years ago. Even while attending college an hour away, I came to Ellicottville every weekend to work in town because I love the area so much. I even graduated college a semester early just to get back down here full-time! Needless to say, I’m thrilled at the opportunity to work with the Chamber, incorporate all the skills I learned at Daemen and market a town that I’ve grown to love and call home!”

An avid shopper, you can expect to see Ms. Siebert popping in and out of our local retailers regularly. When you see her, be sure to give her a warm welcome on her new position.
