Gather up all your loose change! There’s a Boot Drive happening this Saturday from 8:00-11:00am at the Tim Horton’s intersection of Routes 219 and 242 in Ellicottville, and it’s for a good cause!

Volunteers will be collecting donations for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for cancer research. Each boot drive volunteer is signed up to participate in the Ride for Roswell one-day event on June 24th and/or the Empire State Ride, a week-long cycling adventure stretching from NYC to Niagara Falls July 23-29th. Empire State Riders need to raise a minimum of $3,500 to participate in the journey - this is where you come in! Be sure to slow down and do your part by dropping a few bucks into the boot; your donation is greatly appreciated!

Both the Ride for Roswell and Empire State Ride raise funds for cancer research at Roswell Park. All donations have the ability to be matched 23:1 with grants and other funding! The research that is conducted at Roswell doesn’t just stay in Buffalo; it helps so many other communities in their fight against cancer. A “fun” fact: Roswell holds the patent for the current PSA screening test!
