ECS Halloween Parade Returning to Downtown

Ellicottville Central School is excited to announce that the Elementary Halloween Parade will take place in downtown Ellicottville this Friday, Oct. 29th. Students will depart the school at 12:45pm with the parade to start at 1:00pm.  

Change have been made to the route this year.  Busses will park at the Wingate Hotel; students and staff will proceed down Washington Street on the south side, cross to the north side at the center of town (Mud, Sweat n’ Gears to the Gin Mill), then continue down Washington Street to the post office). 

For those businesses wishing to pass out candy/treats, the school asks that you please distribute individual pieces and/or baggies rather than having students place their hands in large bowls/bags. “We appreciate your help in this manner as we still need to continue to be vigilant and mindful that Covid is still present and we want to keep everyone as safe as possible,” said a spokesperson at the school.
