Parking Lot Party

If you’ve been to Ellicottville before, you know that Fall Fest weekend is one gigantic party. No matter where in town you are, there is something happening. It’s a great time for businesses to shine and highlight new products, menu items, etc. But what about newer businesses that aren’t quite ready to open their doors? Does that mean they miss out? Not in the case of The Lincoln Boutique Motel and Pour Taproom of Ellicottville; they’ve created the perfect way to showcase their upcoming spaces… with a Parking Lot Party!
The location: 6089 Route 219, Ellicottville, NY. The dates: October 12th and 13th. The times: 12:00-6:00pm. Enjoy live music, tours of the motel and restaurant, meet the owners and staff, mingle with others… Bonus: the event is FREE to attend and it is family-friendly!
I asked Kathleen Hogan, one of the owners of The Lincoln Boutique Motel, how they came up with this idea.“Timing is everything!” she said. “We have worked hard to make sure that the motel renovations would be complete in order to take advantage of the 2024 fall/winter season in Ellicottville. What better time to give a sneak peek of the progress at both the motel and restaurant? With so many activities scheduled for that weekend, we want to take advantage of the number of visitors.”
Not only will The Lincoln Boutique Motel be offering free tours, they have a surprise prize drawing planned. Pour Taproom will be hosting the live music, food and beverages, all while showing off the updated new interior of the restaurant. Draft beer will be provided by ‘Vintage Taps’ as well as a canned selection through Pour Taproom. Food will be provided by Happy Foods Gourmet Taco Pop-Up. All items will be sold separately.
And be on the lookout for both businesses to announce their official openings. “The Lincoln Boutique Motel and Pour Taproom are on schedule for opening,” said Kathleen. “We will be booking rooms for the remainder of fall and into the winter season during Fall Fest weekend, and the restaurant is on schedule to open for ski season. Pour would also like to host private events and be open some weekends for the fall. We are extremely excited to bring both businesses to this community and can't wait to be a part of the Fall Festival.”
So get yourself down to the parking lot across the street from the Inn at Holiday Valley on October 12th and 13th. Join in all the fun and catch a glimpse of what two of the newest businesses in Ellicottville will be offering the community when the snow flies!
