Opening Day/Christmas Week @ HoliMont
Our highly anticipated opening day is just around the corner. We are thrilled to announce that we will be opening our doors to our members and special guests on Saturday, December 23rd, continuing through to Sunday, December 31st. Starting January 1st, we will be delighted to welcome the public Monday through Friday.
HoliMont eagerly awaits the return of everyone for our momentous 60th Year! It's a landmark anniversary that we simply cannot wait to celebrate. We have made some minor enhancements on the slopes that will have a significant impact on our snowmaking capabilities, allowing us to hopefully extend our season well into April. In addition, our esteemed members and guests will be pleased to discover a host of changes inside the chalet, including our brand-new Member/Guest services office. We have completely transformed this space to create a more spacious and efficient layout for our ticket windows and customer service, ensuring a superior experience for all.
Public Events at HoliMont
Join us for the 43rd Annual Contractor's Day on Friday, January 26th as we celebrate and honor our local contracting companies and other businesses. This exciting event is filled with a day of thrilling skiing and enjoyable activities, followed by a delicious lunch at Dina's at the Mont. It's the perfect combination of business and pleasure! The 2nd Annual Ski 4 a Cure event at HoliMont is scheduled for Friday, February 16th. Experience a day filled with exciting activities both on and off the slopes. Participate in a thrilling scavenger hunt, be part of a heartwarming parade celebrating our cancer survivors, try your luck in the 50/50 raffle, bid on incredible items donated by local shops in the Chinese auction, and take part in an exhilarating race. Come out to HoliMont and support a worthy cause while enjoying a fantastic day of fun! All proceeds from this event will go towards Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Tickets: www.holimont.com/events.
In addition, HoliMont has an exciting lineup of public events happening all season long. Make sure to mark your calendars for the invigorating Breathe and Ice Challenge - a cold exposure clinic happening on January 12th. Save the date for Telefest on March 2nd, and get ready for our highly anticipated HoliBreak from March 11-15th. This incredible event will feature live bands, delicious food, and a week packed with fun activities. And that's just to name a few. Giving Back
HoliMont has joined with the “My 1st Ski” program and the Buffalo City School district to welcome 45 students ages 7-14 years old from three inner-city Buffalo schools to HoliMont this winter. Everyone involved, including one of our long-time members, Marc Joseffer has worked hard to make sure each child has a very positive experience for their first time on skis and learning the sport of downhill skiing. These young boys and girls will need ski pants, ski jackets, socks, long underwear, ski gloves, sweaters, and goggles. The response and donations from HoliMont members and guests last season was overwhelming. Thank you to all who donated. We ask that you help us again this year! There are bins located inside the Main chalet where you can donate any ski clothing. (Note: We cannot accept old skis, ski boots, bindings or poles. Only clothes are accepted.) Thank you for your willingness to help these kids have the chance to learn to ski and have an experience that will last a lifetime!
