They’re $1,000 grants that anyone can apply for and we give out $1,000 to a project, so we have a whole bunch of projects on our website and there’s a lot more that we’ll be doing, but in your community and in our community, we want to inspire people to take a step.” The Spark Grant is given to various projects to ignite change in any way, whether it be a garden, park bench, mural, or anything else that encourages positive movement.

RocketCup Coffee Café, while newly opened, is always looking to involve themselves in the happenings of the area with some upcoming events within the community. On November 18th, expect live music to be played in-house while enjoying a cup of coffee. Of course, with the spirit of the holidays approaching, they will be participating in Cattaraugus’ Christmas on the Bricks, which begins the weekend of December 8th. On that Friday, December 8th, the café will be hosting Santa Claus to greet visitors with some Christmas cheer. The event aims to encourage local community during the holiday season.
