It’s Time to Come Home

Villaggio Re-Opens at Last.

Everyone’s favorite Italian joint is finally making its post-Covid debut Labor Day weekend. On Friday, Sept. 4th at 5:00 PM, Villaggio in downtown Ellicottville will reopen its doors to the public. Catching up owner/operator Nick Pitillo, I got the scoop on everything you need to know for your next dinner date. “We will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 5:00-10:00 PM and Sundays from 4:00-9:00 PM.”

Despite limiting their hours, don’t fret - all of your favorite Villaggio nights are accounted for. Fridays will feature the Fish Fry we have all come to know and love. In addition, Fridays will also offer Prime Rib specials, and the infamous Oysteria will be in full effect. For anyone that doesn’t know what Oysteria is, it’s essentially a seafood extravaganza with $2 shrimp and oysters on the half shell. Sundays will see the return of a local favorite, Pasta Bar, serving up all-you-can-eat custom creations.

Customers can also take advantage of curbside pick, available Friday through Sunday to make any night - dining in - special. The restaurant is also available to host private events 7 days a week. Check out their website (villaggioevl.com) to make your reservation or plan your private function.

“It is crazy to think the last time we were open to the public was Mardi Gras Sunday,” Pitillo said. “We miss our people!”

It is time to come home to Villaggio, and I, for one, cannot wait!
