The temperature in Ellicottville continues to drop as a fresh layer of snow blankets the ski slopes, signaling that winter has truly arrived in full force. The town has been transformed into a sparkling snow-covered paradise.

Amidst this enchanting winter scenery, the highly anticipated 2025 Winter Music Jam is at our doorstep, promising to warm your spirits with the hottest beats and coolest performances this weekend, February 20th, 21st and 22nd. Dust off your snow boots, wrap up in your coat, and head out to a winter celebration like no other! The festival is set to be an unforgettable event that will heat up even the coldest of days. 

Accompanied by the vibrant sounds of Soul, Indie, Country, 80s dance, Reggae, Rock, and Blues, the 2025 Winter Music Jam, produced by the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce, is set to be a spectacular event. Spanning 4 days and featuring 15 incredible bands performing at 7 different locations throughout Ellicottville, this festival ensures an unforgettable experience. Don't miss out on this extraordinary line-up.

Holiday Valley welcomes lead singer/guitarist Trever Stribing from the PA Line Band, playing at the resort’s T Bar on Feb. 22nd at 3:00pm. With origins in Buffalo, NY, the PA Line Band was born into the Indie music scene, packing a punch with their unique blend of folk rock, harmonies, and stylish beats. The band has successfully toured 2 continents, 4 countries and 28 states through the U.S., U.K., and Canada. The band has seen great prosperity through performing at Cobblestone Live! the Fingerlakes Grassroots Festival and Borderland Music Festival. PA - meaning “Peace Always” - was a simple phrase from Stribing’s late father and lives through the band’s everyday attitude. 

Originally formed as an acoustic duo, Dave McGarry and Rick Griesbaum are the talented musicians behind Darkwater Duo. Hailing from Bradford, PA, this dynamic pair delivers an engaging musical experience that spans from the timeless tunes of the 80s to contemporary hits. Adding a dance-pop twist to their setlist, they captivate audiences with their punchy percussion and stylish vocals. Darkwater Duo has won the hearts of many music enthusiasts, earning a reputation for their vibrant performances. Music lovers won't want to miss the opportunity to see Darkwater Duo live on Feb. 22nd at Balloons, starting at 6:30pm. 

Interstate Daydream, a band whose name is a nod to lyrics, is set to return to the Ellicottville area with open arms on Feb. 22nd at Mill St. Sports Pub starting at 7:00pm. This talented duo, composed of Margie Tucker and Rick Emley, have become familiar faces in the Ellicottville, Chautauqua, and Erie areas over the past three years. With Emley on guitar and Tucker on tambourine, their voices harmonize to create a mosaic of genres, blending new hits, timeless classics, rock, country, and crowd-pleasers. Their undeniable chemistry and shared passion for music fuel their performances, making each one unforgettable. Interstate Daydream's dedication to their craft and their ability to connect with audiences through their diverse collection have earned them a loyal following. Be sure to see them live and experience their enchanting musical journey!

Meet the Bacons is a dynamic acoustic duo composed of Joe and Robin Bacon. Known for their captivating vocals, harmonica, and acoustic guitar, this talented couple takes audiences on a musical journey through genres such as country, rock, folk, Americana, reggae, blues, and their original compositions. For over 10 years, Joe and Robin have been enchanting audiences at festivals, music venues, and events across Western New York. Their impressive history includes performances on iconic stages such as Saturday Night Live, Dancing with The Stars, and Carnegie Recital Hall. With a career spanning two decades, they have seen great success, including opening for notable acts like Smash Mouth, Run DMC, and Sister Hazel. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience Meet the Bacons live at the Gin Mill on Feb. 23rd at 2:00pm.
