Folk band Redd & The Paper Flowers will be performing in Springville, NY on Saturday, September 21st for Gather at the Gully. Combining the comfort of a crisp autumn night with the angelic sounds of folk fusion, Redd & The Paper Flowers embrace their nostalgic tone through a harmonious blend of rasp and resilience.

More than just a concert experience, Gather at the Gully includes outdoor cinema, children’s art activities, artisan vendors, cocktails & mocktails crafted by The Mullet, and food provided by Art’s Cafe.

Redd & The Paper Flowers produce their own music, creating a unique Appalachian resonance with hints of jazz and American roots. Composed of four members, each share their vocal stylings and flair through instruments including rhythm guitar, mandolin, acoustic bass, and cello.

Lead singer Redd Daugherty transformed from a high school English teacher to a contestant on Season 19 of American Idol amidst the pandemic. With an overwhelming passion for music and a drive to connect with listeners, Redd & The Paper Flowers formed through relationships made during open mic night jam sessions in Knoxville, TN.

Gather at the Gully will take place Saturday, September 21st from 6 to 10pm. The event will be located behind The Mullet at 49 E. Main Street, Springville NY. Entry by donation. Bring your own lawn chair. Interested vendors email scacassandra@gmail.com. Any questions visit SpringvilleArts.org or call 716.592.9038.
