Ellicottville Welcomes Local Band to Play Many Favorite Rock Tunes this Thursday

ELLICOTTVILLE - Following a successful Summer Music Festival, the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce announces this week’s Gazebo Series performance. Sponsored by Niagara Label Company, the Gazebo Series invites the community to gather together at the Village Gazebo every week for free, live entertainment. This week’s Gazebo Series performance will welcome local band, Rock Maninov on Thursday, Jully 11th, playing many of your favorite rock tunes from the likes of Def Leppard, Pink Floyd, Rush and more. Forming in 1984 under the name, Success, original band members Gary London, Steve Ruszkowski, and Chris Ruszkowski were only in their teens. They changed their name to Rock Maninov in 1991 and opened their own digital recording studio in 1993 called, The Groove,” which operated until 2001. The band has released two full-length albums, “Deamality” (1996) and “The Aftermath” (2000) but broke up shortly after to pursue individual projects. Reuniting in 2017, Rock Maninov continues to play for crowds all over the region.

RockManinov has featured many great musicians throughout the years including Ellicottville native Sean Chamberlain, Leon Layton, Mike Geiser, Rich Bess, Jason Wilbur, Dylan Nosal, and Tom Wachter as chief sound engineer.

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, your frosty beverages and a snack, and enjoy Rock Maninov’s rockin’ sounds this Thursday, July 11th from 7:00-9:00pm. Return to the Gazebo each week to enjoy the remainder of this year’s Gazebo Series lineup:
