Tower of Turtles Highlight the Newest Audubon Shirt Design

Audubon Community Nature Center’s 2024 t-shirt features a tower of turtles, like the animal ambassadors residing in the Center’s Discovery Room and the wild ones in the ponds. You support both nature education and local business when you order an Audubon tee or sweatshirt for yourself or someone you care about.  Photo / ACNC

Jamestown – Turtles are amazing and resilient animals. They are some of the most-loved animals at Audubon Community Nature Center (ACNC), whether you see them basking on a log by the trail or swimming inside their aquarium in the Discovery Room. These animal ambassadors inspired the turtle tower design created by in-house designer Kim Turner for Audubon’s 2024 t-shirt fundraiser.

Along with adult and youth hooded sweatshirts, t-shirts come in a variety of adult sizes in short and long sleeves, women’s cut short-sleeves, and youth tees. XXLs are available for an additional charge. All are made from a cotton-poly blend and are a mint-green color with brown print.

Funds raised by this sale benefit ACNC’s numerous nature education programs. Your purchase also supports local business, as Sideline Sports prints the shirts. This limited-time offer means all orders must be placed by Monday, September 2, 2024. For the details and to order, click through Programs and Events at AudubonCNC.org. Select “in-person pick-up” to pick up your order between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Nature Center on Friday, September 20 or Saturday, September 21 or “ship my order” for an additional shipping fee. For assistance placing your online order, call the Nature Center at (716) 569-2345.

Audubon Community Nature Center is located at 1600 Riverside Road, one-quarter mile east of Route 62 between Jamestown, N.Y., and Warren, Pa. You can visit the nearly 600-acre nature preserve, check in on the live birds of prey, enjoy the native tree arboretum, gardens, picnic area, and hike over five miles of trails dawn until dusk daily for free.
