Annual Event Celebrates Over 40 Years


LITTLE VALLEY - Celebrating over 40 years, the Cattaraugus County Trappers Association Sportsmen's Show will take place over three days in August and will feature conservation displays, archery, black powder, trapping, fishing, guns, taxidermy dealers, a big buck club display, and live seminars. The event is guaranteed to satisfy any outdoorsman/woman. Show dates are:

  • Friday, August 9th from 10:00am-6:00pm

  • Saturday, August 10th from 8:00am-5:00pm

  • Sunday: August 11th from 8:00am-3:00pm

This is a non-alcoholic, family-friend event and is open to the public. Demos in the past have included trapping for fox, coyotes, beaver, mink, fisher, and more! There will be outdoor related arts, crafts and wares available for purchase by select vendors. You’ll find new and used trapping supplies, hunting and fishing supplies, informative presentations on outdoor topics and so much more. The Cattaraugus County Pistol Clerk will be on-site. All state and federal firearms laws will be strictly enforced, no exceptions!

Daily admission is $5 per person for adults; free for kids 16 and under. Camping is available at an additional cost of $15 for the weekend. Plenty of parking and food will be available. Trappers BBQ will be selling some delicious chicken dinners on Saturday, and Saturday evening will host a night auction.
