If you are a foodie, you will enjoy exploring the menu of Twisted Vine Winery & Eatery at 117 N. Fraley Street in Kane, Pennsylvania. This is the second restaurant opened in Kane by successful restauranteur Riki Tanaka, who also owns Table 105, a favorite for fresh seafood and delicious steak entrees.
Twisted Vine Winery & Eatery has a modern, light and bright décor along with a new Italian themed menu. Begin your dining experience with one or more of the appetizers. The Avocado Crab Appetizer caught my eye - panko fried avocado with spicy surimi crab salad and sriracha aioli sounds delicious, but so does the Drunken Pot O Clams steamed in garlic, butter, and Twisted Vine’s white wine reduction, served with crostini points. The Mussels - a pound of Blue PEI Mussels in a spicy house tomato broth served with crostini - also sounds delicious.
Entrees are organized under “From the Garden,” “From the Farm,” “From the Sea,” “From the Field,” and “Pasta”. Pasta is the major focus of this Italian themed restaurant. Lobster Mac and Cheese - cold water Canadian lobster layered in a decadent gruyere and white cheddar cheese sauce and baked to perfection - is the perfect comfort food on a wintry night.
