Holiday Valley Opens for the 2022-23 Season


ELLICOTTVILLE - Holiday Valley will officially open for the season on Friday, November 25, 2022. Combined with the recent 20” of lake effect snowfall over the past weekend, the Holiday Valley Snowmaking Team was able to kick off the snowmaking season on a high note and will be able to get 5 lifts and 9 slopes open on the 25th. 

The lifts that will run are Mardi Gras, Creekside, Yodeler, Tannenbaum and Boardwalk Carpet, giving skiers and snowboarders access to Tannenbaum, Crystal, Candy Cane, Yodeler, Sugar Plum, Upper Northwind, School Haus, Mardi Gras and Happy Glade. 

Friday, lifts will run from 9:00am-4:30pm. Saturday and Sunday they will run from 8:30am-4:30pm. Night Skiing will begin on December 9. 

The Snowsports Team will have Adult Learn-to-Ski or Ride group lessons and privates available for guests out of Creekside. Guests can call 716-699-3506 to book a lesson. 

The Food and Beverage Team will have McCarty’s running from 8:00am-5:00pm, Mountainside Grill will be open from 11:00am-5:00pm and Yodeler will be open from 8:30am-5:00pm Friday through Sunday. John Harvard’s will be open from 11:00am-9:00pm to start the season. Tannenbaum Lodge will be open but will not have food for sale this weekend. 

Customer Service will be open from 8:00am-6:00pm. There will be a shuttle available for lodging guests.

While the recent snowfall is very exciting, please, for your own safety, stay off the slopes so they can continue to do their jobs without worrying about uphill traffic.
