Community volunteers needed to kickoff spring cleanup efforts

ELLICOTTVILLE - Calling all citizens - kids, parents, grandparents, village and town officials, and business folks. Grab your rakes and gloves for a spring cleanup at our own Nannen Arboretum!
Weather permitting, meet at the Town Center/Arboretum parking lot on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 9:00am. Plan on spending several hours in one of the most beautiful and peaceful spaces our village has to offer. Birds will be chirping, bunnies scampering and you’ll experience the heavenly smell of fresh spring grass. Don’t worry, we’ll have jobs for all skill/ability levels and you’ll be rewarded with a true sense of community and satisfaction for a job well done! We’ll even have water, coffee, and snacks to keep you fortified. Any leftover tasks will be finished up on Monday May 2, 2022.
If it rains (or snows, yeah, that could happen) the next best date will be Saturday, May 14, 2022, finishing up on Monday, May 16, 2022. Don’t miss this opportunity to indulge in a little community service - you’ll be so glad you did … we promise!
