There are endless memberships out there for businesses to be a part of, all with different perks and benefits … but what exactly do you get by joining the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce? How are we different? What is it that we do?
I could sit here and list all the benefits of joining our organization and give you a complete overview of our scope of work, but when you boil it all down, we’re a community of people who want to succeed and help others do the same. With combined efforts and shared goals, we’ve worked together to make what some deem impossible, possible.
Brian McFadden, Executive Director of the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce has been in this line of work for decades, growing his wealth of knowledge on what businesses actually need to grow and survive in the trenches of running a business. There are so many intricacies that are involved, however one of the biggest hurdles is letting people know you exist.
That was the mentality behind getting Ellicottville on the map and transforming it into a year-round destination that hosts 100s of thousands of visitors. “One Brand, One Voice” has been our philosophy and without a doubt, it works. With decades of experience and countless hours working with our research partners, the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce has brought together a network of businesses and exclusive opportunities to help members grow in the direction of their goals.
Right now we’re gearing up for our annual Guide to Ellicottville. What started out as a small printed directory has grown into a magazine style, print publication that is distributed locally and throughout NY, PA, OH, and Southern Ontario. 40,000 copies are produced with a paid distribution to over 400 outlets and 30 trade shows. (Pretty incredible coming from an office of our size!) You can request it to be sent to you or even download it directly from our website at www.ellicottvilleny.com.
