HoliMont FLITE Team Alumni Evan Dermott to Compete in World Cup February 6th
Sixteen-year-old HoliMont FLITE Team Alumni, Evan Dermott, is currently in Park City, UT gearing up for his 3rd World Cup start which will take place at Deer Valley Resort on February 6, 2021. Evan is a Team Canada athlete and recently finished as a Top 3 Canadian at the first World Cup of the season in Ruka, Finland.
Evan grew up learning to ski at HoliMont and, because he loved to jump, it wasn’t long before he landed on the FLITE Team, coached by Corey Hacker and Kelly Hilliman. Being former US Ski Team Aerialists, Corey and Kelly saw Evan’s talent for jumping and helped him build strong fundamentals which have carried him through to great success. The FLITE Team program is a hidden gem at HoliMont and has many elite and World Cup aerial, mogul, and slopestyle athletes on its alumni roster.
As many people are aware, Corey is battling health issues but notwithstanding, he always finds time to check in on his alumni athletes. On behalf of all FLITE Team Alumni families, we offer our heartfelt “thank-you’s” to Corey and Kelly for the passion they bring to their program and the incredible skill they are able to develop in their young athletes.
