Allie grew up in WNY and is a graduate of Ellicottville Central School. She worked hand-in-hand with ECS Art Teacher Deb McGowan to build her portfolio. Allie attended the Boston University’s Fine Arts Program and currently resides in Steamboat Springs, CO.


ADIRONDACK ART

Cathy Lacey is a retired art teacher who works part-time at the Ellicottville Memorial Library and still teaches art classes there. She enjoys working in mixed media and her work is a tribute to her many summers spent in the Adirondack Mountains.

Ellicottville native Sara Goode is adept at painting, drawing, graphic design and so much more. As an artist, welding really sparks her creativity, so much so that she built her own business, Ellicottville Arc Custom Welding. She makes furniture and creates amazing art.

Barbara Fox is a painter recognized for watercolor and oil mediums, still life, figure and floral subjects. Fox’s meticulously crafted works are exhibited & collected internationally, and have been selected for publication in fine art books & received numerous awards.

Jenna Hadley is an Ellicottville Central School graduate who is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree in business administration at the SUNY Fredonia campus. Her palette submission is a whimsical wildflower display that she hand wood-burned.


BLAZING BLUE HORSES

Randy Zahn is a 36 year old artist from Sinclairville, NY. He designed his Swedish Horses palette based on the memory of his great grandmother’s kitchen. The torch marks and stamped paint help give the work an aged look, so it wouldn’t look as new.

A graduate of Ellicottville Central School, Felicia Elom attended the University of Buffalo and now resides in Jamestown, NY. She has a diverse art style and enjoyed turning her palette into a tribute to old 90s kids shows, like Aaahh!!... Real Monsters. .

Local hair dresser Jenn Powers is a mixed-media artist who did some time in graphic design and who loves nature and reclaiming art as functional works. She used to create home decor, furniture and whimsical pieces as well as drawing & painting as foundation.

ECS Student Samantha Stock’s palette was inspired by the classy brunch vibe of the Town of Ellicottville. Samantha is currently a senior and is planning on pursuing a future in the art business via an education starting at Alfred University.

Garrett Lapi is an Ellicottville Central School graduate that currently works as a chef at the Old Library Restaurant in Olean, NY. He decided to emphasize a desert moonscape for his palette, using bright blue hues for the sky and darker colors for the earth.


WINE WONDER

Cole Lapi is another graduate from Ellicottville Central School who pursued a degree in mechanical engineering. He used his heritage and degree to design his palette submission, using a red wine to stain the background before engraving his design onto it.
