Undoubtedly one of the most popular gathering places for locals and visitors is Katy’s Cafe, a charming spot on the main drag, is serving up specialty coffees, teas and delicious breakfast and lunch options. Respectfully named after one of Holiday Valley’s founding members, guests of Edna’s at the Tamarack Club can expect a high-quality, relaxed dining experience in a beautiful setting that offers panoramic views of the ski slopes in the winter and the golf course in the summer. The restaurant features a menu that incorporates local flavors and seasonal ingredients. The most well-known local haven for all things meat orientated is the Silver Fox, Ellicottville’s only steakhouse. Their main dining room provides a cozy atmosphere with a touch of elegance. The Banq Cocktails and Lounge offers craft cocktails and small plates. Inspired by the space, they wanted to bring back touches of the bank within the décor and design choices. Full of old school speak-easy vibes, you can stop in for any classic craft beverages, like an Old Fashioned, or you can mix it up with one of their own creations like the Bumble Bee, which features spiced rum, white rum, agave, lime, and an egg white. This local artisan pizza stop was voted in as the best pizzeria in Cattaraugus County in June 2024. They offer brick oven pizza and wings in a casual environment in the heart of downtown.
