The new summer menu is live at John Harvard’s Brew House, located inside the Tamarack Club at Holiday Valley! With options for everyone to enjoy, including those with dietary restrictions, it offers beautiful views and tasty creations. From burgers to seafood, you can’t make a wrong decision. Try the Scarlet Snapper from the dinner menu - a delectable serving of 10oz. Snapper Filet served on a bed of cilantro lime rice and topped with a housemade. Jicama Slaw that adds the perfect amount of zest to the dish. It’s also one of their gluten free menu options. Check it out!


FLATBREAD PIZZA

Since they’ve opened, 12 Gates has become known for their authentic NYC-inspired deli sandwiches, like their amazing traditional rueben with freshly sliced corned beef piled high on rye bread (and you can’t forget about the pastrami). Alongside their filling sandwiches, they’ve also got a few other gems on their menu you should check out, like their flatbread pizza options. The BBQ has brisket, BBQ sauce, onions, dill pickles, cheese and scallions. The beef on Weck has beef, cheese and pepperoncini. Each one is loaded to pizza perfection!

From foccaccia bread to fish done Milanese style, if you want “stick-to-your-ribs” comfort food, you come here. One dish that is sure to remind you of your “nonna” is the Rigatoni Bolognese, an old world pork and beef ragu, thyme, parsley and parmigiano over a hearty plate of rigatoni pasta. Buon cibo!

Dina’s is the perfect place to enjoy a summer time meal in Ellicottville, with their modern decor, two floor seating area, and you can’t not mention the outdoor dining area that’s amazing for people watching. And their food is just as top tier. They’ve got great variety and long time favorites. One dish that’s always on the dinner menu is their special Chicken Cecelia. A herb and panko breadcrumb crusted free range chicken breast on a bed of gorgonzola potato rissole and blistered tomatoes, topped with shaved Parmesan and a balsamic reduction. Sounds super tasty!

West Rose is a powerhouse of pizza perfection. Featuring traditional pepperoni to gourmet offerings like Delicata Squash with garlic cream, truffle pecorino, mozzarella, caciocavallo, red onion and oregano. Their 3-cheese is a twist on a classic with garlic cream sauce, crushed pistachio, Aleppo pepper and honey. Their newest creation was a special, confit potato pizza with wood roasted onions and rosemary. So many unique and tasty options to choose from. Do yourself a favor and pick one up this weekend.

Take a short tip from Ellicottville into Great Valley and visit Katy’s Fly-In, a full service haven that serves homestyle favorites and elevated gourmet specials. Open all day, you should definitely check them out for breakfast. They’ve got all the staples including bacon and eggs, or you could sample something new like their Crab Cake Benedict. If you’re looking for a pie that is as unique as you can be, then Steelbound Brewery and Distillery is the place for you. They’ve got the usual suspects of cheese & pep and veggie but they are also slinging a Stuffed Pepper Pizza, a Sweet and Savory featuring poached peaches and herbed cream cheese and their almost famous 3 Little Pigs Pizza. That is pork sausage, chopped bacon, prosciutto, marscapone, cheese blend and arugula, all together. Sounds like you should be making an order for a couple right now!

MSBB is a local favorite when it comes to turning out thin crusted brick oven pizza pies, wings, calzones and breadsticks.
