Villaggio is the place to go if you want to have a Lenten meal with your family or on your own.  Not only do they have Lobster Mac & Cheese and Richard’s Scallops (scallops with cauliflower puree, apple cider reduction, lemon, parsley and celery) on their regular menu but the chef will have a special fresh fish feature daily and on Fridays they will also be offering beer battered haddock fish fry with French fries and coleslaw and a fabulous Baked Haddock Milanese, which is haddock backed with a Milanese sauce, served over spaghetti agli olio, and finished with an arugula salad. Make this a must visit!

Apps like shrimp cocktail and coconut crunchers to entrees like shrimp scampi pasta, spicy Cajun shrimp and the ability to add grilled or blackened shrimp or salmon to any salad. Lent doesn’t just have to be fried fish on Fridays. Ellicottville Brewing Company offers a fantastic alternative in their daily salmon special. Hand-cut, 8oz Bay of Fundy salmon filet, pan roasted and served with saffron rice, butter poached vegetables, and a different topping daily (ask your server for topping options!).
