Growing Together: ellicottvilleNOW is NOW WEEKLY!!

How Teamwork is Adding Value for Our Local Businesses and Advertisers

Since 2010, our small yet personalized team has worked passionately to provide local business owners, event organizers and community resources with the valuable tools and comprehensive support to help them reach their target markets through the wonderful world of print media. What started out as a monthly tourism newspaper transformed into a biweekly community newspaper, offering a platform for everyone to come together and benefit from the advantages of our regional, high-traffic reach. As we continue to mold our publication into its best version, we are excited to announce that we are transforming yet again - from a biweekly newspaper to a weekly, starting NOW!

We believe that teamwork is essential for success. My co-pilot, Meaghan, and I have built a team of talented professionals who are dedicated to providing engaging content for our readers and the best services possible to our advertisers. With a wide range of skills and experience to draw from, we are not only creating a successful and thriving business environment here at ellicottvilleNOW, but we are aiming to help create a successful and thriving business platform for local businesses as well.

You know what else is important? Communication… which is why we recently brought on another full-time team player who can dedicate the required time to fulfill this need for our clients.

Jessica Schultz grew up in Great Valley and graduated from Ellicottville Central School. She comes to ellicottvilleNOW with a strong background in communication and organization, and will be focusing her abilities in these areas as well as content coordinating. Her motivation is to provide more personal attention to our advertisers, to connect with our team of writers on weekly storyboards, and to gather and create content for our website, digital newsletters and social media platforms provides so much more added value for both our advertisers and our readers.

Speaking of our advertisers… they are key to ellicottvilleNOW. Our publication is free for anyone to pick up and read, therefore, it is our advertisers that provide the foundation to keep us in operation. We are grateful for all of the wonderful businesses that continue to advertise with us as we transition to a weekly publication. Many of our local businesses have faithfully been with us since we released our first issue 13 years ago. To show our appreciation, our new media package offers free digital advertising on multiple platforms, increasing brand visibility.

We’re also excited to add another local delivery person to our team, as we begin the process of growing our distribution areas. Kelly Loverdi and her husband reside just a few miles east of downtown Ellicottville and run the new campground on Route 242, Good-Natured Glamping, which opened last summer. You may also know Kelly from The Purple Doorknob, where she works part-time as a retail associate. Teaming up alongside our head distribution manager, Evan, Kelly is excited to meet new people as she travels throughout Cattaraugus and Erie Counties, sharing the good news that you’ll find each week in ellicottvilleNOW.

Oh, and our page size… yep, it’s bigger! Which means bigger ad space and more content - more business spotlights, more event highlights and more special features, which means more writers! We’re always looking to grow our team of writers. If you or someone you know is interested, have them reach out to us at info@ellicottvilleNOW.com.

We are proud to produce a quality publication and maintain a high-level of customer service. We are happy to support local, provide employment opportunities for our locals, and we strive to assist small business owners in their quest to grow as well. We are grateful for every single one of you, and we look forward to continuing to work with all of you in this community, which we are proud to raise our families and call home.

If you’re looking for an effective way to support local businesses or advertise a business, event or community resource, look no further than our weekly newspaper! Our team is dedicated to providing the best service possible and helping our clients succeed. Growing together, we can create a bright future for our community. Should you have any questions regarding our services, please contact our office at 716-699-9816 or email info@ellicottvilleNOW.com. And be sure to frequent the advertisers you see in our publication. We are all connected. #SupportYourLocalBusinesses #SupportYourLocalPublisher #evlnow
